research internships

We are excited about hosting researchers at all stages! Past interns include undergraduates, high school students and teachers, and community college students. At UIUC, we work with the Access and Achievement Program for students with no previous STEM experiences and the PRECS Program partnership between UIUC and Parkland Community College.

Research interns conduct original research projects under the supervision of lab members, all the way from experimental design to data analysis. If you’re as excited as we are about science and want to learn more about brains, cool critters, and wild places get in touch!
